Pedestrian Priority Traffic Lights

Sydney's famous Oxford Street Rainbow crossing in 2013 was a temporary fixture on Sydney's roads in 2013. City of Sydney Council fought hard to get it reinstated and eventually negotiated a rainbow crossing on the intersection of Bourke street and Campbell street including a precedent pedestrian priority traffic light (aka. Green light for pedestrians and bike riders until a motor vehicle triggers the detector to change the signals).
