Day 1 - Sátoraljaújhely to ​Boldogkő Castle

Food: Lunch at a Small grocery store, Dinner at the end at a pub
Highlights:

• Seeing my first castle in the sky after. hours of hike a bike
• Sleeping at the base of a castle and making friends with the castle crew 
• Discovering sweet strawberry soup

Lowlights:

• Hike-a-bike for hours through ankle deep mud

Day 2 - ​Bükkszentlélek

Hungarian Divide - Day 2 
Distance: 158 kilometres. Elevation: 2,144 metres
Highlights

• Riding through the meadows
• Learning about squeezable meat
• Finding other bike packers at the end of a night of hike a bike through the forest

Lowlights

• Breaking my phone
• Hiking through the night

Day 3 - Eger and Sirok

Hungarian Divide - Day 3 
Distance: 94.4 kms ,Elevation: 1,546 metres
Highlights:

• Riding through the vineyards of Eger
• Fixing my phone 
• Meeting Gabor, Kolos and Imre and sharing Palinka at the camp site

Lowlights:

• Waiting in the mall to have my phone fixed

Day 4 - Matra and ​Zagyvarónai

Hungarian Divide - Day 4 
Distance:127 kilometres Elevation: 2,314 metres
Highlights:

• Climbing Matra (highest peak in Hungary), the best climb, closed to traffic and mega quiet and gradual that I could listen to a whole podcast episode while climbing
• Random Kávé (coffee) with whipped cream by a local
• Finding a church to sleep at which had power and water!

Lowlights:

• Langos for breakfast and lunch

Day 5 - Salgótarján and ​Bánk

Day 5 Statistics

Distance: 128 kilometres Elevation: 2,407 metres
Highlights:

• 10 kilometre decent into camp
• Riding through the country side and through the forests

Lowlights:

• Getting lost in the forest

Day 6 - Visegrád and Imre

Distance: 94 kilometres Elevation: 2,125 metres
Highlights:

• Big big feed for lunch
• Climbing out of Visegard

Lowlights:

• can't think of the lowlight this day

Day 7 - Filozófusok kertje (Philosopher's garden) Budapest

Hungarian Divide - Day 7 
Distance: 64.5 kilometres Elevation: 1,248 metres
Highlights:

• Picking lavender at the lavender farm
• Descent into Budapest
• Finishing the Hungarian Divide

Lowlights:

• Hike a bike through the last climb, was not expected
